Hello to everyone at home and we hope you have all enjoyed a day of worship together. We have two prayer requests that we would like to lay before you. I just talked to my Mom and we have had a loss in our family. My mother’s cousin, Brenda Wilbanks, passed away this morning. My mother’s family and her family all had children of close ages and lived close to each other during their childhoods. All of our family loved her dearly. She was an absolutely beautiful woman and always happy and caring. She was and still is loved by many that will wait for the day to see her whole again in heaven. Brenda’s battle with cancer for many years has been a difficult one, but one that she fought bravely and without complaint. She raised three Godly boys that now have families of their own. There are several precious grandchildren that will also miss their loving grandmother. Please lift them up in prayer as it has been only a few weeks since two of the boys’ father passed away also. There are several sisters, brothers, nieces, and nephews that were greatly touched by her life and her husband loved her dearly and will certainly be needing your prayers for many days to come. Brenda left no doubt as to her relationship with Christ and I know that she is now healed at His feet and that she is certainly visiting with her parents, a grandchild, her brother, my grandparents and my dad, but there is also the pain of her family’s loss here as she was so loved by all. Please pray for strength and peace for the days to come. Pray for her brother, also her pastor, as he will be in charge of her ceremonies along with her sons. Our love, prayers and thoughts are with all of them.
Our second request is for our judge. We are meeting with her tomorrow morning and we are very hopeful that she will give us a court date. Please pray that God continues to move mountains so that we can have Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. She had told Sergey on Friday that there were a few things in the paperwork that she wanted to change and we had to be present, she would not give Sergey any information without us there. They are minor things, really like typos so Sergey is prepared with his computer and printer to get everything as she wants it in our meeting and hopefully she will be prepared to give us our date.
We have had more and more news that only confirms that God did lead us to come on to Ukraine at this time. I am not a liberty to really go into details, but I will tell you that I am still being amazed at God’s all knowing ability and that nothing man thinks up can surprise Him and thwart His plans. We are truly blessed to be called His children by adoption. When you pray tonight, please thank Him for all that He is doing for our family.
We send you love today as always and we hope to be home soon. We miss you all and can’t wait to see you and hug you and visit with you. Thank you for all the help you have given us. We are truly touched by your care for our family. From this side of the Atlantic to yours, hugs, love and prayers…
